hi
i have a doubt
when i try to play a DVD-Video from the DVD-Rom with smplayer...if it have some scratches, smplayer stops the playback
but with the same DVD-Video, reading it via my DVD-Player DAEWOO...no problems...it just jump the little errors of lecture, i suppose
how can i do this with smplayer?
avoiding the errors of lecture and just continuing the playback...
thanks

Try to play the dvd using dvdnav (in smplayer go to preferences -> drives and enable the dvd menus), although it may not work either.

Did you try to play the disc with other players (vlc, for instance)? The problem may be that linux (the kernel) can't read the disc.

i don't know...
it reads it...but is so sensitive
any scratch or litle dirt on the DVD makes smplayer stoping the playback...
with totem is the same way...
