Hydrogen, the drum machine for Linux, worked 100% great in Jaunty. I upgraded to Karmic and bam, sound is crackling and laggy.

I don't believe Juanty had a Realtimie Kernel. Karmic does.
I am also trying to perfect my audio "Rates and Blocks" for optimal sound.
It looks like Jack is operating in realtime and Hydrogen + Hexter works great for awhile then I get a giant Xrun about five minutes in.
Admittedly I need to learn more about Alsa and OSS. I use run of the mill sound cards. c-Media & EnSoniq 1371
Do I need to Lock down Memory or change any settings to begin to "logically" improving sound?
I just tweek with my fingers crossed.
