View Full Version : [ubuntu] Crash installing RAID0 with alternate/server CD

I've tried to make an installation with the "Xubuntu 9.10 alternate CD" in a computer with 2 hard drives and making a manual partitioning to have a RAID0.

The partitioner crashes when I try to select the filesystem in a LVM volume (I clean MBRs, partition for /boot, RAID and LVM inside).

I've registered a bug in launchpad some days ago and I believe this issue has a high importance because is a part of the basic installation, and this affects also server install:

Hi - try heading over here --> http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1360445

There are some 'issues' with 9.10 and RAID - have a look through some of the threads on the subject & pick up on where people are upto.

Regards,

Phill.
