hi. i decided to retry with ubuntu. but again something is wrong
ok so i put in the cd, dual install with windows vista, then i reboot in ubuntu, finish the installation, reboot again into ubuntu and then i get to play around on the desktop and all, then the auto update pop up, got like 175 updates or a big number like that.
i update it, it ask for reboot wich i do and then when i select ubuntu instead of windows this screen comes up. (i pressed TAB and got those result. i tried typing in "boot" but it said "no kernel", and only tried restart or reboot where it reboots the PC.)

would installing ubuntu as the ONLY OS on the PC help with running ubuntu with less problems or is it really only affect the processing speed of data when theres 2 OS installed?
