Songbird wont work.

I fully downloaded songbird from the website. When I try to open it however, nothing happens. I cant even install it. I tried to redownload but still nothing.

This is my first post in the forums!:KS I've gotten a lot of help from here so far and I'm look forward to being part of the community!

I've been having the same problem with Songbird. The "do you want to run" window pops up but doesn't do anything when I hit "run." I've tried to run it from the terminal and I get the following:


././songbird-bin: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected


In the meantime I've decided to try installing some alternative players:

atunes (http://www.atunes.org/)

gtkpod (http://www.gtkpod.org/about.html)

Amarok (http://amarok.kde.org/)
