OpenSolaris Warning

Hey all, I just thought I would let you guys know, OpenSolaris is fast, but it isn't very user friendly. It took over an hour to install, there is one repository, barely any 3rd party apps, no native NTFS support or even added support (have to compile on your own). Granted it is Unix and not Linux, I was expecting it to be a little bit easier - I had to manually install the flash plug-in too!

In that sense PC-BSD is much better.

True, I did like PC-BSD, it was nice, but after I did OpenSolaris I tried OpenSuSE - bad choice again - sound didn't work right 90% of the time, no ati drivers, and the menu system sucked. So I'm putting my nice comfy ubuntu 9.10 32-bit back on.
