I've had issues with Cairo Dock since last time I updated, some of them I have already played with and got them fixed but for this one I can't find where the problem is. When I turn on the computer Cairo Dock works just as fine a always but after a while it sort of dies, I don't know how long it takes since by the time I find out it's dead, maybe 10 minutes? 20? Anyway, the problem here is that when I move my cursor over to the right edge, where it would normally bring up cairo dock, nothing happens, however, I can't click over buttons which would normally be on the portion which it uses when it comes up, that is I can't click on the minimize, reduce or close buttons, bin, the User Switcher etc. If I open the System Monitor it tells me cairo dock is still running, using up between 90 and 110% (?) of the CPU

I think it's a bug that has already been reported and fixed in the current development version (2.1.3-beta).
Try updating using the PPA repository.
