Hi, i've just switched over from Windows and a lot of my media folders on Windows had a thumbnail preview. The image itself is contained within the said folders and is called Folder.jpg.

I understand i could manually change every single folder to get a preview, but that could take hours! Is there a script or package i can use to do the job for me? It would need to be able to select specific images by name, rather than at random.

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10

Thanks!

Look at this link

Though it doesn't do it automatically, it gets the job done.

well that's the problem, i can't get the original poster's app to work. the python scripts mentioned don't do the job i'm looking for either; they select images at random.

is there a better solution?

Thanks.
