View Full Version : [all variants] Is there support for the new touch screen monitors/laptops

This may well be in the wrong section so admins feel free to move it.

I note that at the CES there are quite a few of the touch screen computers and monitors, mostly laptops. Does Linux have support for these screens?? Just curious.

Thanks. It looks like they are working on it. There seems to be more and more of these devices coming in the next year, at least that seems to be the case at the CES so far. Lenovo or HP seems to have a neat detachable screen.

not out of the box anyways, i have a new Acer touchscreen laptop and just installed Mint 8 on it and no touchscreen support, not yet anyways.
