View Full Version : Presentation remotes.

This year I'll be doing quite a few presentations using both PowerPoint and the OO equivalent (starting and mostly with the OO Presentation). My mini laptop uses 8.04LTS, and so I need a wireless remote control to change to the next slide. But of course it has to work with 8.04 and OO Presentation. Any Ubuntu friendly brands that you know of? I've already checked at the local electronics stores, but they only guarantee Windows and Mac, obviously, and prices start from USD$100 (10,000 yen).

My current remote presenter is a Labtec ... can't see a model on it. Works fine with Impress. Basically all it does is emulate a keyboard and send Pgdn and PgUp keys for next slide/previous slide, and (I think) F5 to start the presentation, Esc to end it early, B to blank the screen ... all conventions started by powerpoint.
