Yeah. It only says whatever percent, without a battery life estimate. I'm using gnome.

Luckily,my computer is desktop not a laptop.
But if percent is shown,don't you estimate the left battery life?

Well yeah, but on my netbook it extremely accurately tells me battery life remaining, which is an excellent feature, so I prefer that.

Hi rossholley.

If you rightclick an empty spot on the top bar, then click add to panel, you can add the battery charge monitor.
