I've got a copy of Firefox 3.6rc1 from Mozilla FTP site. I was just browsing to copy the link for the beta 5, to post on another thread, then suddenly the rc1 appeared. I have downloaded it, but it's not available anymore.

The folder is still there ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.6rc1/

Should install it? :)

Yes.

I'm already using 3.6b5 for some time now. Indeed Firefox has a lot more extensions than Chrome, but not all of them have been updated to be compatible with FF 3.6.

I'm currently using the Add-on Compatibility Reporter (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/15003) from Mozilla, to bypass the compatibility check. Unfortunately, All-in-One sidebar still doesn't work, but most of my 52 installed extensions are doing fine.

For more info see Firefox optimization and troubleshooting thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1193567).

I guess I'm lacking sense of humor :)
