Hello all,
Trying to create a netbook remix pen drive installer from my mac.
Been trying to follow the howto here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick#Computer%20used%20to%20make%20USB%20d isk
It says it won't work with an iso and that I need an img. I can't see the img for the i386 netbook remix on the mirrors for 9.10:
http://ubuntu.virginmedia.com/releases/9.10/
There's one for 9.04 so I can create a pen drive installer for that and then upgrade... but I was wondering why there isn't one for 9.10? Or where I might be able to get one or how to create one?
For those of us coming from macs it's a bit of a brick wall to be told to get the img and there not being one :) It's also really hard to find the mirrors list through the download page.
Thanks in advance
