Hope I am posting this in the right sub forum. I was wondering if anyone has found a solution to getting different wallpapers on all workspaces without loosing the desktop interactivity.
I got my wallpapers to work using CompizConfig Settings Manager-> Wallpaper and adding them there.
then using the configuration editor i turned off apps->nautilus->preferences->showDesktop
has anyone found a way to do this without turning off showDesktop? cause that way I loose my root-tail and conky stuff not to mention any icons on the desktop.
