So I burned ubuntu on a DVD checked it it checks fine, when i loaded it it came to language select I selected english then the menu appeared and i checked the disk there make sure it was still ok it checked ok, so then i went to install... it would show the flashing ubuntu emblem then it'd go to alil dialog and display a series of numbers with "too much work for irq8" or something like that and it would repeat it till finally my screen would go black and my monitor would say Frequency out of range and ask me to try changing resolutions which left me kind of lost so then i tried other options same error (Im confused i dont know how to fix this).
My computer is: Emachine (owned since 2003)
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2400+ 1.99 GHz
Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB
System type: 32bit
HDD #1: 90gb
HDD #2: 25gb
Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce 7600 GS
someone please help.
