Some rather exotic problem, I guess; want to use an old Agfa Snapscan 1212p not recognized under Linux or Wine. I know from experimenting in the past it only works if connected during Windows boot.
What method should one choose? I've only found tutorials for the standard grub-reinstall method which will let the scanner fail to be recognized unter Windows95 (yeah, but if I need to install ******* 1 last time, I'll take the tinyest of them all...).
