Since upgrading to Karmic from Intrepid, the desktop background doesn't move when I switch workspaces in the Compiz desktop wall. Is there a way to fix that?
I tried editing the "non sliding windows" in the desktop wall properties (compiz config). Now it says "type = Dock | state=Sticky", but the desktop is still sticky.

You have to let compiz draw the desktop wallpaer.
In ccsm > utility > Wallpaper

Thanks a lot, that works (after logging out and back in).
