Hi,
on Karmic...Which already has PyQt4 4.6.1 installed.
Need a older version like PyQt4 4.4.3 for python 2.5 installed.
I need this version since Maya 2009's python version is 2.5
I was able to have newer(python 2.6 compatible) and older (python 2.5 compatible) version of PyQt4 installed in xp 32 bit. So that I can import PyQt4 in python 2.5 AND 2.6 in Win XP 32.
When I try to do the same in Ubuntu it just replaces one version PyQt4 with another.
Is it possible to have both PyQt4 versions installed.
Simply I just need PyQt4 working in Maya 2009 ubuntu karmic.
