I installed Netbook Remix from a USB. On first boot, the operating System did not fully load. It loaded the brown/orange background, but stopped short of the gray tool bar at the top. Now when I turn on my computer and choose Ubuntu, I get the following error message:
Windows Could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
<windows root>\system 32\hal.dll
Please reinstall a copy of the above file.
