I have a Netbook with XP as its original Operating System. Since I have no CD ROM, I used Virtual Clone Drive to open the Netbook Remix File, which is on a USB Flash Drive. Virtual Clone Drive read and executed the Ubuntu Netbook file fine (I think). The prompt said I can install and uninstall Ubuntu Netbook Remix like a program, and would not need to create a partition - which sounds good. I selected that option and installed Ubuntu that way. Question: What kind of setup have I created? Am I booting Ubuntu from the flash drive? I tried booting Ubuntu from the flash drive once without the flash drive in the usb port, and it said cannot find X file to boot Ubuntu, or something along those lines, so I think I am booting and running ubuntu from the flash drive.
