Hi,
When 9.04 orignially came out, there seemed to be a lot of issues with support of various video modules and hardware specs. As such I am on the previous version (8.10 I think).
The primary issue, IIRC, was that I was running an Interl 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller. It's a Intel-based CPU but has served me well. It runs Gnome just fine, but the version of KDE that came was in 8.10 I think was very raw and I had issues.
I think perhaps it's time for an upgrade, but I don't know if there are patches and the like that are in place to support my hardware now.
Can anyone comment on this for me?
