OpenDesktop.org has done a wonderful job with websites dedicated to artwork for the Linux world. However, LXDE has been around for like 3 or 4 years or so, and they still have yet to launch a similar website for LXDE users. Has anyone heard if there are any plans for them to do so anytime soon?

The site you're looking for is Box-Look.org

Not likely, since LXDE doesn't have any themes of it's own. The application themes are GTK (available from gnome-look.org, xfce-look.org and box-look.org) and window border themes are Openbox (available from box-look.org).
