Hi, I just made a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 and it looks like I do not have the Medibuntu repositories correctly installed. I can't find "Opera, Skype, WICD", etc.

Can anyone tell me, what I should check?

Thanks!

http://www.medibuntu.org/

You can add the repository or download the individual packages from the site.

Opera from ftp.opera.com

Skype from http://www.skype.com/download/skype/linux/choose/

WICD from http://wicd.sourceforge.net/download.php

Thanks very much indeed for your replies!

Forestpiskie:
I tried exactly that, but the medibuntu repository still does not work!

I got opera, from the opera repository, and wicd installed by now, but I would like to have the Medibuntu repository working correctly anyhow.

Again, thanks very much for your replies!

If it aint working, then try again later, but in the meantime you can download the packages you want, and double click the downloaded files to start them installing.

If you are running Jaunty, try ...

If you cut and pasted the commands in the terminal correctly you will have the repository enabled . If for some reason you did it incorrrectly you will need to remove shat you did and do it again correctly.
