Pulse Audio Preferences - help!

Since loading the new version I have, like many people, had very low volume.

I have no idea what the problem is and the many threads just confuse me further. I have tried re-installing Alsa drivers but to no avail, and I have logged a few threads but I have had no answers.

Looking at my Pulse A:confused:udio preferences - none are ticked - could this be the problem - which ones should be ticked.

Any help in the "low volume" issue would be greatly appreciated.
