I have an instance of Ubuntu which I have a kiosk user that has limited functionality, basically can only use the web browser and can print. I have this user pretty restricted. I want to use Clonezilla or Ghost to image this instance and deploy it to several different machines. Is there a way to do so and change the hostname? Or is there a way to keep this user profile and add it to a Ubuntu installer where a user could go through the installer inputting their time zone, host name, etc but when it boots it would boot to this locked down environment? In short I am trying to create a master image which can be deployed to another machine yet keep the integrity of the locked down kiosk user. Is this possible with Ubuntu?
