Is there anyway at all of removing the bookmarks (Mounted and Unmounted partitions, the "Network","Connect to Server", and so on bookmarks) from the Places area in Nautilus as well as the Places button on the Gnome Panel?

These take up space and are useless to me.

removing the bookmarks (Mounted and Unmounted partitions, from the Places area in Nautilus as well as the Places button on the Gnome Panel?

In the Nautilus sidebar (F9)-Places, just right-click the bookmark and choose Remove.

Once removed from Nautilus, it will disappear from the Places menu as well.

Thats great if its only such bookmarks, say, Music or Video.

But I'm not talking about such bookmarks. I'm talking about the ones that you can't remove with just that. Like the ones I gave example to in my first post.
