View Full Version : [kubuntu] MacintoshHD won't automount on boot

January 4th, 2010, 02:44 AM
I dual boot a MacBook with Snow Leopard and Kubuntu 9.10

My problem is that my hard drive isn't enormous, so I want to refer all my Amarok libraries and such to the main HFS+ partition. It mounts fine as a regular user, all I have to do is click on it in Dolphin and it'll mount fine. But when I try messing with my /etc/fstab, I can't ever get it to mount as a regular user no matter what flags I put. It'll mount on boot, and I can navigate through folders, but when I get to a folder with actual contents it denies me access. Could I get some guidance on what I need to do? Thanks a bunch! This system is much more preferred over OS X.
