Pidgin Notifications

Hello.

I've recently done a minimal KDE install on a spare hard drive with the mini.iso. All is more or less well except I can't get pidgin to display any notifications through KNotify(?). I have the libnotify plugin and library installed along with the daemon. Is there anything specific I have to configure to get this going?

You could try this plugin (it doesn't use dbus as pidgin-libnotify, but kdialog, so it might work), but you need perl:

Hey, thanks for the actual reply, but I installed the kubuntu-default-ettings package and notifications were tied to knotify after that.
