Just after a little discussion going on in another thread, I thought I would ask this question.

I also have a 3G connection when I can't connect to any wireless connection.

I am out and about alot with my laptop.

I have a 3Mbps DSL line at my house, and some insane cluster of connections at school. My phone connects on Sprint's EVDO, and I used to get mobile broadband to my computer through EVDO.

Satellite internet. Expensive, laggy, but better than dialup. Got a strict limited bandwidth policy ("Fair Access Policy," or "FAP") that keeps me from downloading isos to test new distros for fun... gotta order them through snail mail to avoid getting "FAPped." Satellite's no good for impatient ditro-hoppers, lol.

I have friends in your exact position. Those "fap" things should be illegal.

This wouldn't have anything to do with the GIMP thread, would it? ;)
