View Full Version : [ubuntu] NetGear WG111T Cant Install

I'm new to Ubuntu
I'm running on Ubuntu 9.10

i cant seem to get my Net Gear WG111T V_1.3 to install.

i havn't got a clue around ubuntu just yet

Would some one be able to help me out?? i realy need this wireless connector working.

thats just where i am for last few hours mines the wg111ge tho. all i got so far is install ndiswrapper

i got mine working did you install ndiswrapper have u got the drivers for the device you will need them

got it working

Had to deviate from the manual alittle bit but its workin perfectly,

is it just me or does running wireless on Linux make the strength stronger??
mine's has picked up 5 more internet connections wich wernt there b4 lol.

you have to install the following packages
1. ndiswrappper
2. your NetGear wireless driver software
