Hello! I was wondering how much improved performance does memory cache give you?
For example, I have 4GB of memory, and if my programs are using 40% of that and my cache is using 60% of that, will adding more memory (i.e. giving myself more memory for cache) give a noticeable increase in performance?
Have there been any scientific benchmarking tests to determine how much of an improvement additional cache gives you?
