Hi,
I'm looking for a distributed computing project that is about the internet superstructure. I was trawling the net yesterday, and stumbled across this:

http://www.neti.gatech.edu/

What do people think? Does this seem like a worthwhile project to participate in?
Some people on IRC said they would be very wary of what that data was going to, as it is a kind of Packet Sniffer. I am very interested in the topology of the internet, having been on it for 10 years this year (I started in 96 on an SLS server), and seeing how it has grown and changed and watching and predicting it's future has some meaning to me.

I just want an opinion is all, as I am looking for something to do with my computer that isn't F@H or S@H, and The topology of the net is interesting.
