How do you change the startup programs?

I'd like to temporarily uncheck some of the startup programs. Some are taking up far to much memory. I found it very easy to change in 'Ubuntu' but not kubuntu. I've been looking and looking and cannot see a program.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I think you need to navigate to /home/username/.kde/Autostart

Once you get to that folder, you can right click on any empty space, and choose Create New > Link to Location (url) or Link to Application.
