Hello everyone,
I have several problems after upgrading from jaunty to karmic.
I first noticed open office shows the splash screen but after that it disappears but never loads.
Also, Blender header is missing. Even while selecting "windowed" from the menu.
I need the header to span two monitors.
From my reading of threads, it's evident that compiz is the culprit!
Most replies to similar threads instruct to turn off compiz.
I have done this and was able to get both the above working.
One other problem, which is probably not related is in Gimp "scan as layer" no longer works.
I believe all these things were working with jaunty. Is this a compiz bug?
