video is really bad!

I just installed ubuntu 9.04 as I got before but now my videos are reproducing really bad, the image is still and the audio continue playing... what should I change?

Basic troubleshooting options are :


Check if the propritary graphics driver is install
Disable compiz if it is running
Ensure that your pc's has the resources for proper video playback
