Random Question, and i wasn't sure where to put this, but i was wondering if it is possible to make the "File Browser UI" transparent?

Thanks

You can use a custom Compiz setting for the "Opacity, Brightness and Saturation" plugin.

You can use a custom Compiz setting for the "Opacity, Brightness and Saturation" plugin.

Or rather use Add Helper addon in ccsm. change the values of the window types under misc options to "name=nautilus" and set the opacity level to 30 or 40.

My latest ccsm profile uses both Add Helper and Opacify Plugin of Compiz. The former will make all unfocused windows transparent until clicked again whereas the latter temporarily makes the blocking [foremost] windows transparent if mouse is hovered over it. If clicked on some part of desktop, the desktop will be made visible through the stack of the transparent windows using the Add Helper addon.

Just try the compiz profile attached herewith. Hope the screenshots help.
