How do I uninstall and Remove vi?

Vi editor has been included in linux forever. But I don't like, need or use vi. My question is what package is it in so I can remove it? Nano offers everything that I need and possibly mcedit.

Thank you, I was going to remove it but I installed fd-clone. Now may end up keeping vi for it. I did specify the editor that I would like to use however.

I'm curious, what is editor set to in the alternative?


ls -l /etc/alternatives/editor
