Forum folder question.

I apologize if this is in the wrong place! Mods please move if inappropriate. If I move any of my subscriptions to another folder does the forum maintain the subscription? I notice when I visit any of the threads I'm subscribed to the 'subscribe to this thread' link is available and works, implying that I'm not subscribed.
