Audacious not working after upgrading to Karmic

Can't even play MP3 files on Audacious. Re-installing didn't fix the problem.

Other media players, and sound in general, work perfectly. Audacious is the only thing that isn't working.

I use Audacious for PSF files and because it's the best MIDI player IMO. Some plug-ins like adding reverb or transpose a composition on the fly are also nice. So I need Audacious :/

If you want any information let me know how I can get them.

What version of audacious are you running? If you are running 2.1 from the karmic repos, then I recommend trying the newer 2.2 release before you try anything else. It fixes a large number of bugs.

if all else fails, u might want to try preferences/audio/ and see if its using pulseaudio.. it usually is .. u may want to try ALSA or some other in that droo-down

Installed the newer release and that fixed the problem. Thanks
