Don't know if this has already been posted - http://www.computerworlduk.com/community/blogs/index.cfm?entryid=2712&blogid=14

Makes for an interesting read, says Microsoft's recent attempts at 'engagement' with open source are purely an attempt to gain a commercial advantage.

How about MS Office itself?

I mean, if it's for home use, then maybe OO is a better alternative. But in an office environment, OO doesn't even come close to the functionality offered by MSO. All the components integrate so well with each other.
