I installed Ubuntu 9.10 (64-bit) on a 2nd internal harddrive (Vista on the primary). Everything went fine the first time, GRUB loaded and let me choose between Ubuntu and Vista, Ubuntu loaded fine and I played around with my new OS happily.
Then available updates popped up on my screen and I just chose to installed them all. GRUB also wanted to update, so I allowed it to.
It told me to restart, I did, and now when I turn on the computer it says "GRUB loading." and the rest of the screen is black. I can't load Ubuntu OR Vista, it just stays at that screen. I tried installing Ubuntu again with the CD, hoping that would fix my problem, but it still gets stuck at "GRUB loading."
help please?
