Hi All,
May be it is a simple question but I like ask what is the experiment.
I have a computer with 2 HD and each 2 partition.
Like install on one Ubuntu Linux and all other want let for diferent datas.
The main question is if two data disk can let FAT 32?
If I can let what better format the 3rd data disk what is NTFS now?
After all and before all what is the best partition for the OS and the programs?
Thanks,
losi

If you do not have a windows operating system on any of the disks, maybe best stick to ext file systems, either ext3 or ext4.

If you do have windows, you be best keeping the partitions that they will use/access to Fat32 or NTFS.

It is completely possible I have misinterpreted your question, maybe you used a web based translation application to write your post ?

It is not at all clear what you want to do.

Hallo.
You want to use only Ubuntu
Fat32 should work for Data partitions, Ext 3 or Ext 4 is better.
Windows can not read ext 3 or ext 4.

Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 uses ext4. This is ok.
Ubuntu 9.04 and older uses ext3

Is this what you wanted to know?

Hi Michael,
Thanks a lot.
This answer for my Question. From your answer understood what to decide, what to do.
(I will use install Ubuntu 9.1 on Ext4 and will use Ext4 for the more important data and the FAT32 let for momentary data.)
