View Full Version : [xfce] Trash (Thunar) vs Trash (Nautlius)

It appears Thunar places all deleted files in the user's trash can. This is fine for local files, but when deleting files from network (NFS) drives or USB drives, it means the files are cut and paste onto the internal drive.

From memory, nautilus somehow created a trash folder on each drive, but then linked by shortcut to all the Trash folders (although it did sometimes get confused).

Is this a design "feature" of xfce / thunar? Can a nautilus-type trash system be implemented in xfce?
