I previously ran Windows XP. I got a virus that shut down my ability to open or run any program via windows. I got a hold of the newest ubuntu version install CD. I failed several times to register anything at all on the partitions screen. On about the 10th try I was given the option of how to set the partitions. I chose to have Windows deleted and overwritten by ubuntu. Now, whenever I try to boot my computer without doing so via the ubuntu install CD I receive this text:
GRUB loading.
error: no such disk
grub rescue>
I am not familiar with GRUB or linux at all. Will someone give me some helpful instructions?
