"Removable Drives and Media" problem

Hello, I want to know how I can check the following :

Mount removable drives when hot-plugged
Mount removable media when inserted
Browse removable media when inserted

As i cant uncheck them in the System-> Preferences-> Removable Drives and Media

as it doesn't exists any more. I am following this guide: http://www.pendrivelinux.com/installing-ubuntu-to-a-usb-hard-drive/

Xubuntu still has the Removable Drives and Media option, but the actual Ubuntu one has been moved... Open your home directory in Nautilus and goto Edit -> Preferences... the last tab will let you alter removable devices...
