Login screen does not show up

The problems with 9.10 do not have an end :(
After solving the freezing problem now i cannot even login.
I had the problem of freezing after loging onto the system and i partially solved it by entering in low resolution mode. Now after the message of the low resolution mode the screen goes black and it showing the round cursor like is trying to load something and it stays like this forever.
Any solution?

When you boot, type 'e' in the grub window and remove the 'quiet' thingy from the command, then you can see where ubuntu gives an error or where it hangs

Just installed the 9.04 again. I think the 9.10 is the worst version i ever used

I know 9.10 wants to use more open-source drivers and therefore it doesn't accept drivers that were used in 9.04 and older versions.

Maybe that's the problem with your pc, it needs closed drivers but you can only use open-source drivers.
