I feel kind of bad asking this question for the millionth time, but none of the instructions here seem to work properly (or I'm just doing something wrong).
So the deal is that I got a new computer for xmas and want to give my old computer to my sister. The problem is that it has Ubuntu 9.10 on it and she wants XP.
The 160 GB hard drive is partitioned like this :
80 GB filesystem - linux ext4
642 MB - swap space
79 GB - unallocated space
(the unallocated space was under linux, but I botched up the last uninstall and started from square one again)
The Win XP disc won't boot at startup. What should I do, I want to completely wipe the HDD and create an XP install that takes up the whole HDD in one partition.
