Hi,
I currently have a MacbookPro 1.1 and an iMac 8,1 as my operating systems.
But because of school I would like to install and be able to boot Ubuntu 9.10 from my "portable" harddrive (iomega). Is this possible?
If so... can anyone tell me:
1. How to partition this disk (about 50-100GB for linux and the rest for file storage to use on both mac and linux.
2. How to install Ubuntu 9.10 on this partition
3. How to boot from my computers by plugging in my portable disk.
If this is done, is it possible after booting in linux to access the other partition of the portable disk for file storage (so that I can use files made on my mac in Ubuntu also...?)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Coldhearth!
