Eventually, though it might only be available in the standard repositories starting with Ubuntu 10.04 .

What repositories do I need to add to apt-get to get Mono 2.4 and MonoDevelop 2.2 before Ubuntu 10.04?

I'm also looking for a PPA for 2.2. This one still contains the beta: https://launchpad.net/~directhex/+archive/monoxide

Found this one for 2.2 final: https://launchpad.net/~clayt055/+archive/ppa

If I add that unofficial PPA, will it be messy when the Ubuntu Team updates their PPAs and have installed MonoDevelop 2.2 using the unofficual PPA?
Thanks for all answers!

If you are referring to the monoxide PPA, then as they are both PPAs I believe it will just take whichever has a newer version.
