Can anyone suggest a stable player for .vob files?

Excluding these:

vlc player
media player classic
mplayer

I don't know about cyberlink products though, because my only problem with that is that it can't show subtitles. ver 4.0

Thanks.

I have that too, but whenever i try to change the subtitle and audio (I'm watching Korean dramas) the audio is out of sync.

Then i tried to open the file into dvd (cause it's literally in a dvd) but the quality is a no no.

Did you install SMPlayer via Ubuntu repositories? The version in the Ubuntu repositories tends to be outdated. If you have the confidence to use PPA, I suggest getting it directly from the SMPlayer developer's PPA. I have good results from it.

Link to SMPlayer PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~rvm/+archive/smplayer (https://launchpad.net/%7Ervm/+archive/smplayer)

For better integration with SMPlayer, it is also suggested to use a patched MPlayer:

For the record, this info came from:
